Barbara Bridgman

Chief Compliance Officer & Director of Operations

Barbara Bridgman oversees the firm’s compliance program, to ensure we are meeting the requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission, adhering to laws, regulations and quarterly and yearly filings.  Her responsibilities also encompass internal operations, including HR/payroll, technology, tracking various market trends, and developing practice reports and analyses. Born in Ohio, Barbara moved to Chicago after graduating from Baldwin-Wallace University with a degree in Economics. Eventually moving to London, Barbara lived there with her British husband and two daughters for several years. Barbara and her family eventually moved back to the Chicago area and currently reside in the northwest suburbs. She has lived in the Chicago area for many years and works remotely for us.

She has a Bachelor’s in economics with a minor in Business Administration and a Master’s in Elementary Education. However, most of her career has been in the financial sector at various investment firms. In her spare time,  she enjoys hiking/power walking, her book club, traveling, history podcasts, and spending time with family in her spare time. She is a Chicago Bears fan, and on the other side of the pond she supports Arsenal in the English Premiership.
