Meet Our Team

Eric E. Wolfe

CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®

Eric Wolfe, founder and managing principal of Succession Financial, is a Certified Financial Planner® practitioner. For financial advice, reach out to Eric or Cassidy. You can contact Eric via email at ewolfe@succession-financial.com or by telephone at 214-334-6261.

He graduated with a degree in Political Science from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, where he was also in the Army ROTC program. After serving on active duty in Germany and with continued service for some time in the US Army Reserve in Dallas, Eric began his career as a financial advisor in 1996.

Eric is a lifelong learner. In addition to the CFP® certification, he is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®). He has also been learning German and Spanish for over five years for fun.

Eric caught the non-profit bug when he was privileged to serve on the inaugural board of directors of Minnie’s Food Pantry. From there, he has served on the Agape Hope and Resource and Assistance Center (hope4agape.org) and the Community of Caring Hearts Charity board. The last two charities align with Eric’s non-profit mission: helping single women and their children who are homeless or in peril.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, where his heart will always be, Eric is the glutton for punishment that comes from being a Cleveland sports fan. But he loves the Browns, Guardians, and Cavs.

Cassidy Susi

Personal Financial Advisor, CRPC®

Cassidy is a Personal Financial Advisor at Succession Financial. You can reach her by email at csusi@succession-financial.com or by telephone at 469-200-3593.

Cassidy graduated with a degree in Finance and Economics from Bentley University in Massachusetts, where she also played varsity softball and actively participated in the athlete’s bible study. Her interest in advising began through her experience at Janney Montgomery Scott, a financial services firm, where she was taken under the wing of lead advisors in Mystic and Westbrook, Connecticut. Her most recent role was at Deloitte in Boston, supporting the firm’s Risk & Financial Advisory offering.

Her hometown is Waterford, Connecticut, where she grew up with four older brothers. In recent years, Cassidy has fallen in love with traveling, visiting Puerto Rico, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Greece, and even connecting with her Sicilian roots in Italy. She feels her best at the gym or on the beach.

Barbara Bridgman

Operations Director

Barbara Bridgman is our Operations Director. She handles most of the operations of Succession Financial behind the scenes, including payroll, leasing, technology, and compliance. Barbara is also the person you would contact if you required money to be withdrawn, moved between accounts, or deposited into your Fidelity accounts. Her other duties include monitoring Required Minimum Distributions, facilitating charitable contributions from their IRAs on people’s behalf, tracking various market trends, and developing practice reports and analyses. You can reach her by email at bbridgman@succession-financial.com or by telephone at 469-884-1856.

Born in Ohio, Barbara moved to Chicago after graduating from Baldwin Wallace University with a degree in Economics. After graduation, she married a British gentleman and moved to London, England, where they lived for several years and their two daughters were born. Barbara and her family eventually moved back to the Chicago area and currently reside in the northwest suburbs. She has lived in the Chicago area for over 20 years and works remotely for us.

She has a Bachelor’s in economics with a minor in Business Administration and a Master’s in Elementary Education. However, most of her career has been in the financial sector at various investment firms. She enjoys hiking/power walking, her book club, traveling, history podcasts, and spending time with family in her spare time. She is a Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan (and, it goes without saying, a glutton for punishment), and on the other side of the pond, an Arsenal fan in the English Premiership (Soccer/“Football”).

Eunice Higgins

Client Services Director

Eunice Higgins is our Director of Client Service. Her primary job function is interfacing with clients, advisors, and financial institutions to implement the solutions that have been decided. You can reach her by email at ehiggins@succession-financial.com or by telephone at 945-333-0333.

Eunice has been married 33 years and counting; she is the mother of three daughters and two grandsons. She now calls North Texas home but was originally from the Kansas City area and proudly cheers for the Chiefs!

Pete

Director of Unconditional Love

Pete is our Director of Unconditional Love. He is the only child of Kaylen Heath, our Workflow Manager. Pete is a lab mix and is responsible for being a listening ear to clients (his mother and Eric included), welcoming everyone into our office, and allowing anyone who wishes to pet him the opportunity to do so.

He is originally from Puppy Haven Rescue, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was adopted by his mother in December 2023. Pete enjoys going for walks, chasing a Frisbee, and playing with other dogs. He also enjoys spending time on the couch with his mom and playing with all his toys.
